It wasn’t until recent years that fitness became important to me. Most of my life, I was unaware of how important my body was and how much better I would feel if I was healthy. In 2014, I moved to the Big Island of Hawai’i and began the process of making healthier lifestyle choices. My interest in fitness began slowly by biking to work every day. Biking was my entrance into this world, mostly out of necessity. However, about a year later I began working out regularly with a friend who had a lifetime of knowledge in fitness and body building. At first I enjoyed working out to help calm my mind, but then quickly realized the effects that it had on my whole life. Some routines became almost like a meditation for me; not only did it change my physique but it also changed my mental health and clarity. For me, working out is holistic, incorporating a healthy body with a healthy mind and spirit. 


Today, my love for exercise has increased exponentially and I love sharing this journey with others. In 2017, I became certified through NASM as a personal trainer. I am also a certified spin instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics, and work at the Mauna Lani Auberge Resort Fitness Center. My personal routine consists of daily CrossFit and individualized strength and mobility training. My clientele range from all ages and walks of life. I specialize in areas including balance training, endurance, and strength training.
